- Just for applying for the exam is not considered as count. Aspirant need to appear in UPSC CSE Prelims exam in order to attempt to be counted.

Group A civil servants starting basic pay is 56,100/- excluding DA , TA and HRA. HRA varies as per place of posting. Group A service civil servants like IAS , IPS etc. are provided with official vehicle , driver , govt bungalow and domestic help. Some of these perks may varies as per posting and availability but overall government takes good care of civil servants and their family to help them perform their duties with full potential. Civil servants are awarded with good job security to help them function independently , unbiased and fearlessly.
